I can’t seem to delete allanvs.wordpress.com … even though I’m logged in via my (email visible only to moderators and staff) email address … what gives?
(BTW When I ask for the WP site to send a password reset email for that site, it never ever does.) -

What happens when you try to delete https://allanvs.wordpress.com/? Have you followed the instructions in the Delete Site support page? And read the following warning in the support page?
Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address (such as yourgroovysite.wordpress.com).
Were you logged into the correct account when making the attempt?

It sounds like you may be logged into the wrong account when making the attempts to delete the site and reset the password. You may add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar of this topic to call for staff attention.

Hi MusicDoc1 – when I go to the allanvs.wordpress.com it says the email address (I believe it’s auto-propagated) is (email visible only to moderators and staff) – which is the current email address … but no email comes when I tell it to send me a password reset …
However, if I go in via the regular method (i.e. from gravatar, or wordpress.com it’ll send a password reset email.)
