My old tagline is still showing when I Google my blog

  I’ve changed my tagline under my Title but when I google my blog it still shows the old one. Is there anyway to remove this old tagline permanently?

  How long ago did you change it?

  It could be weeks before the Search Engine caches catch up.

  You don’t have any posts yet. You have only static pages. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/ WordPress.com pings the search engines every time your publish or edit.
