My old web host says he will terminate my blog on April 1st unless new host

Is this blog hosted by WordPress.com? Will it terminate on April 1st for any reason? I tried to go to Hostgator to put the domain name in my name but they want to access the c panel and you do not seem to have a c panel. I paid for this domain name and I should own it already.
