My old website has been hacked? Help!
-
Hi there. I need help. I used to own the website http://www.curatedtaste.com a few years ago. I let it lapse and did not renew the domain because I shut the site down. Today, I got an email with one of my very old articles stating that someone else posted it to curatedtaste.com. As it turns out, the site is live again, so I assume someone has purchased the domain but all my old info is on there. The about page, the contact me page, etc. How do I go about getting this taken down? This is all my own (old) work and I certainly don’t want any of my old subscribers getting spammed. Thanks.

Hi there,
This forum address issue with website hosted in WordPress.com only.It seems that you’re in the wrong support forum. You are using the self-hosted version of WordPress rather than WordPress.com. You can raise your issue with hosting provider of http://www.curatedtaste.com to NS.CLOUDFLARE company.

My old website has been hacked?
It hasn’t been hacked. That’s why I personally would never own a paid for domain. This is what happens if you have an active domain and then don’t renew it. It becomes available for someone else to purchase. If you’re sure your content is being used by someone else then you’ll need to approach the current host of the site (as discovered by @manisharaut2019) with your complaint.
PS: You can see the history of that domain at the Wayback Machine: https://web.archive.org/web/20160215000000*/http://www.curatedtaste.com
