My old WordPress email has been hacked and I want to delete my WordPress account

  I made a WordPress a longgg time ago with an old email that has since been hacked and I don’t remember my password but I can’t reset my password since I can’t access the email it’s linked to. I want to delete my account, how can I do this?

  Hi there,

  Please share us the username or the site address of the WordPress.com account that you want to delete.

  Generally, if you lost the access on the email that is registered for the WordPress.com account, the only way to regain access to the account is by providing one of the below:

  Transaction ID when you performed the upgrade purchase for your site. You can find this on the WordPress.com receipt sent to you when you performed the transaction.

  Activation URL is the link that WordPress.com sent to your registered email address when you first register the account. To copy the activation link, right-click on the link and choose “Copy Link Address” and paste it into the account recovery form.

  If you do not have any of the above information, then no one, including staff can help you regain access to the account or to delete it.
