My old wordpress name

  Hi there, I deleted my old blog anthonyjstewart.wordpress.com and I appreciate the content is gone but I still want to use the address. It seems like my address is still classed as live even though it doesn’t exist. How can I get it back. Noone else is using it, but it says its live.

  Hi Anthony,

  Once a .wordpress.com URL has been created, it can never be used again, even if the site is deleted or re-named, so you’ll need to choose a similar one that hasn’t yet been used.

  You can map any custom domain to your WordPress.com site, however:
  Add a Domain
