My original email address is not active. How do I change to my current email

  My original account email has been discontinued, so I’m not able to go through the steps to change that email to my current email (as verification goes to an email address that no longer exists)
  I can’t delete my old user account, however I was able to add myself with my current email. Now my postings come under my name and photo twice in the sidebar.
  Is there any way you can otherwise identify me to allow the deletion of my earlier administrator info. Of course, I don’t want to delete my blog content.
  Can you identify me by my IP address? Or perhaps through my new email address?
