My own comment in my blog was marked as spam

No, once Akismet thinks you’re spam, all your comments go in that file, even on other blogs. That’s exactly what is happening to ALL these people. They just noticed it on their own blogs first.

The best way to get un-spammed is to repeatedly comment on your own blog and un-spam yourself. That way you dont’ have to rely on other people to do it for you. It happens faster.

kx213, unfortunately, it’s probably the “country” that you live in and yes I realize that there’s little that you can do about the situation. Best bet would do what’s suggested as above and fend in a feedback pointing to specific comments (that’s very important) that had been caught and ask for assistance.

The issue involved for each person who’s posting here saying that they’re having problems, Akismet is probably blocking thousands from IP s around you.

And, again, no one up above has pointed any of us to a comment that’s been caught. We may see somehting that you don’t. The poster up above who commented as getting caught due to all the markup is probably being caught because of the html markup.
