My own domain name

  I dont know what is best to do. Either transfer my domain completely to wordpress or leave it with the current hoster. Looks like its cheaper to transfer to WP but what are the other implications?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  If you plan to use any of the paid plans it is most likely cheaper to transfer it to WordPress.com. There are some limitations when you transfer domains but nothing specific to WordPress.com, for example, there is a requirement that the domain is eligible to transfer etc (see here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/).
  You can set different kinds of DNS records if you need that :

  So it depends on your preferences, having a domain and the site at one place or keeping them separate.
