My Own URL Deleted and Cannot be Reused?????

    I have one account with 2 blog addresses. I had an old blog alexiszibolis.wordpress.com that I was maintaining for about 2 years, but then I changed the name of my company to Fierce Physiques. Keep in mind. This is MY company and I own the copyrights and trademarks, and I owned the blog URL in the first place (literally up until 2 minutes ago).

    I couldn’t figure out how to change my wordpress URL from alexiszibolis.wordpress.com to fiercephysiques.wordpress.com, so I started a 2nd blog with the fierce physiques URL I wanted. When I started to try to move my blog posts, I was finding it was time consuming. I finally found a way to change my old blog URL, but in order to do that, I had to release the fiercephysiques URL by changing the URL name to something else (fpalexis.wordpress.com). When just doing that didn’t work, I deleted it thinking it would finally release the URL so I can use it for my old blog. Well, by doing that, it is supposedly deleted forever, even from it’s own account. This is REALLY BAD for my business as I have everything branded with my trademarked name. Also I cannot find a way to contact WordPress to get this fixed ASAP.

    I know that they cannot restore a deleted URL from another account, but why not from someone’s OWN account? There has to be an exception? Please someone tell me how to fix this?

    Hi,

    I finally found a way to change my old blog URL, but in order to do that, I had to release the fiercephysiques URL by changing the URL name to something else (fpalexis.wordpress.com). When just doing that didn’t work, I deleted it thinking it would finally release the URL so I can use it for my old blog.

    Sorry, but you can’t release a WordPress.com URL. Either changing the URL or deleting it wills always have the result of making the URL forever unavailable to everyone.
