My own views included in stats
-
My views are included in my stats, which is fine because I don’t have any traffic from anyone but myself. It just annoys me that it isn’t supposed to include them but it does.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
what you describe can happen if you’re browsing your site while not logged in. For example, view using another browser, another computer etc…
Also that happens with private blogs, but since your blog is public, I think that the reason was described above.
Everything about stats:

Thanks for the reply! I had already read all of that over a few times. I only use one device to update my blog and am always logged in. At least I never log out or in and can update just fine. Does this mean anyone can “log in” and update my blog?
That explanation linked only seems applicable to people blogging and checking their blog from different devices. I use the app and choose “view blog” without logging out, then “view stats” and the number of views increases, not the number of visitors, and it indicates the same pages I had just viewed.
Unless someone on a different IP is copying my every move simultaneously, I can’t think of an obvious reason. I often miss the obvious, though.
Thanks!

FYI: here’s what else I’ve tried:
Deleting then reinstalling the app
Logging in and out
Restarting my phoneI’ll try all of that again…
Thanks so much for taking your time to help me!

With the Android App I am not seeing my visits counted when visiting my site and viewing individual Posts –

Hmm. I’ve got iPhone 5. Maybe that’s it.
It’s not a big deal, really. Shows me how many times I view my own blog, ha ha!

Try looking around here: https://apps.wordpress.org/support/
That is the support area for Mobile Aps – that is at WordPress.ORG – if you want to post you will need to open a WordPress.ORG account – use the same email as here if you want
