my page disappeared when I published

my page disappeared when I published it. I have read several help files online, but can’t find the html thing they are talking about. Please help as I am using this site to teach a course and my students no longer have the content they need and I don’t have a back up.

Hmm, is the page still visible in any way? Is it in the trash or drafts of Pages -> All Pages?
If it still is there, when you open it, do you see the Revisions ‘module’ on the screen somewhere. If not, go up to Screen Options, and click on it, and then make sure Revisions is marked. Then you may find a revision of a previous version of the page there, and you should be able to restore it from there. Hopefully you can find it!

Please be precise when asking questions. What’s the exact title of the page? And what do you mean by “disappeared”? If you mean you don’t see it in the top menu, then you’re probably using a custom menu: in that case you need to go to Appearance > Menus and update the menu manually.
