My page information disappeared!

I added photos and comments, clicked on update – like I always do – waited – viewed page, all okay. logged out. Logged back on and there is absolutely nothing on my page Permalink: http://mcclibraries.wordpress.com/october-school-holidays/ – that’s 18 months of photos and other stuff! All Gone! HELP!!!!!

Had you clicked to save your draft as you worked to write your page? If so, then there may well be an autosave version you can still access to restore at least some of your work.
Are your photos uploaded to your wp.com library? Or did you link to them with urls from Flickr or some other image hosting place?

yes, I saved – an no, it has disappeared totally! My photos are in my gallery – and I save to flickr too fortunately.

I’m not sure what could have caused this but can you restore this post revision. Then, let us know if it happens again.
Post revisions are a way of storing the history of changes to a post or page. They’re handy for situations like this where the unexpected happens.

This has happened again – spent the last half an hour updating the page and now everything has gone again! I will use the restore you sent and start again!
