My pages do not have a featured image option.
-
There is no featured image option on the bottom right of my page. In addition, when I go to screen options, there doesn’t appear to be an option to get this done. Consequently, I cannot add a featured image, and now when my posts are posted on Facebook, a big, fat really ugly WordPress logo accompanies them.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there,
The theme you’ve chosen, Bouquet, doesn’t include Featured Images as a tool.
If you are interested in choosing a theme with Featured Images, here is a list of your options:
https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/featured-images/If you would like to keep your theme, this link includes some other options, since you cannot add Featured Images to Bouquet:

It’s a pity for those of us who lack such a feature that we are not allowed to install a plugin to make up for the loss.
I’ve been playing around with shortcodes and will see how that works out.
Thanks for your advice.

Tell me, as I don’t have a place for featured images (lower right-hand side) is there a place that I have to put the image? If it’s supposed to be 200 px. square, that’s pretty large to put at the beginning of every post. Can I put it at the end? Will that work in the transfer to Facebook?

Hi there,
You should be able to add that at the end of your post, yes. I was able to add a square image (256x256px) to the end of a post in a test blog. When I shared to Facebook, it did choose that image.
If it doesn’t appear, you may need to run your post through the Facebook debugger to clear its cache and try again:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/facebook-image-thumbnail/#image-thumbnail-problems-faqGive that a go, and let me know how it works.
Thanks much!
