My Pages have text URLs, how do I find the Page ID?
-
All of the help information for finding page ID’s mention the number at the end of a page URL. My pages don’t seem to have this (something to do with my theme? I have no idea why.
A sample page URL: http://undergraduatesciencelibrarian.wordpress.com/a-very-brief-introduction-to-the-scientific-literature/
I would like to exclude a couple of pages from the page list in the pages widget, but I can’t find the IDs.
Any ideas?

G’day,
I can help with that. Here’s where to look >
Exclude – If you would like to keep certain pages from being listed in the widget, you can enter the Page IDs (separated by commas). To find the Page ID, go to Pages->Edit and hover over the title of the page. The status bar of your browser will display a URL with a numeric ID at the end. This is the page ID.
