My Partner is dead and i don’t have administration rights of our blog

  Hi,
  Me and my friend were running a free wordpress blog from 2016. She has died in an accident and now i want to upgrade the free blog so i can change the contents according to latest available information but i’m just an author and don’t know if i will upgrade to paid blog and have the access or not. Please let me know how can i be administrator of the blog.
