My pending post vanished, along w/3 drafts

    I have read the strains and the possible ways to locate your draft.

    I have 3 lost drafts total, not anywhere on my dashboard.

    A media file for the pending post draft that was deleted/lost by WP does remain.

    I know it is lost in WP, but not permanently, please how can we restore?

    I was using the most up to date WP app on Android. I did not get any “bleep” messages today.

    Your stagnant response is not helpful and hundreds of us lost original pieces, please rectify ASAP!

    I am a Volunteer and whether or not you like it my so-called “stagnant response” below and elsewhere is accurate.

    Provided you did not create the post in the new Beep Beep Boop editor where it’s saved only on your browser, and is not auto-saved to the servers for your blog you may be able to recover a lost post or page.

    If the post was created on the dashboard of your own blog at Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New then you ought to be able to recover a lost post or page from revisions if needs be.

    If you cannot locate a revision or restore from Trash then the content has been lost and cannot be recovered.

    I recommend:

    1. Always create your posts on the dashboard of your own blog at
    Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New
    If you have cookies enabled on your browser your preference will be saved unless or until your clear your cookies, and it will take you to the classic editor automatically every time you create a new post via the drop-down menu in the black admin bar or edit a post via the edit button on the blog itself.

    2. Immediately after creating a post and entering a title click the save draft link. Thereafter, “click save draft” frequently.

    3. Always allow pages to fully load before clicking any other links.

    4. Never leave a post or page open for content creation or editing and walk away from it, or open another tab in the same blog and work on something else while it is still open. Save it properly and return to edit it later.

    5. Use an offline blog editor so you have backups on your own computer http://en.support.wordpress.com/xml-rpc/

    If you do not locate the post in your drafts or private posts then please provide the title and URL of it here please as I tagged this thread for Staff help.     You responses may be timely but are not 100% accurate.

    Your attitude is rude and combative. I don’t appreciate your last reply either re: duplicate threads. Obviously, I am searching for an ANSWER and upset I lost multiple completed drafts. Maybe you should take a volunteer vacation.

    HOW DO I CONTACT A WP EMPLOYEE?

    Is my app connected to bleep bop boop?

    I went from 4 posts, 1 published, to just 1 published post.

    Please someone connect me to WP employee!

    I too have lost posts and that is why I include my advice when I answer this question, which I’ve been answering this question accurately for around 2 years now. I already tagged this thread for a Staff response. However, I already know and have shared with you the fact that if you cannot locate a revision or restore from Trash, then the content has been lost and cannot be recovered.

    I don’t appreciate and will not put up with abuse from those whom I try to help. I suggest that you become keenly aware of your tenor and tone because I am neither rude nor combative and making such unfounded accusations makes you look foolish.

    We love positive and productive discussions, so please keep comments on the topics at hand and not on other members of the community.

    Hi @lacastaldi,

    It looks like you’re in touch with Shawna through private email. I know this is a frustrating process getting knocked around to several different areas just to get an answer.
