My permalinks were changed when moving from WordPress.com to WordPress.org.

My incoming visits directed to my blog by referrers no longer get readers to the specific articles, because all of the permalinks appear to be different. The permalinks on WordPress.com included the date, etc., but now that I self host the permalinks of the articles I moved over do not.

How can I fix this so I don’t lose the referred traffic I’ve built up?

    Hi!

The only want to fix this would be to adjust the permalinks on your self-hosted site (WordPress.com permalinks can’t be adjusted). You can find this under Settings -> Permalinks on your self-hosted dashboard. You’ll want to select the “Day and name” option.

Can you give that a try?

That did the trick! All of my old permalinks have been restored. Thanks.
