My Personal Settings Are Correct but My Avatar Doesn’t Link to My Blog

I commented on another WordPress.com blog, but when I hover over my avatar, it doesn’t link to my blog. Here is the link to my comment: http://tiagail.wordpress.com/2009/10/31/nassim-quote/

The link you posted above is not to a comment. It’s too a post wherein the blogger quoted you but failed to backlink your name to the post she took the quote from.

The gravatar typically doesn’t link to your blog from comments. Your user name does, and it is linking to your blog from the referenced post.

You can check my blog here and see the same thing. Avatars do not link, usernames do.

But if I comment elsewhere on the net, and the comment form has a place for your website if you have one, and you populate your blog URL, then people click on your avatar and get the blog? I seem to recall that happening before.

You wordpress.com username is now linked to your wordpress.com blog. So provided that you are signed into wordpress.com when you leave comments on wordpress.com blogs, when your username is clicked whoever clicked it will arrive on your blog.
