my photo downloads are showing up too large

  I have been loading pictures onto my blog. When I view the blog they are off the screen huge. I am loading them on using Firefox and in Firefox they are the right size, but when I use another web browser to view my blog is when the problem occurs. I have tried shrinking the image down and that doesn’t have any effect on the image size on the blog. What am I doing wrong? I am lost and starting to get frustrated! I am by no means a computer whiz, and I need some help…anybody?

  it would really help too if you included a link to your blog, it helps us see what’s going on.

  When you upload an image, and you attempt to delete it, well.. it doesn’t really get deleted. It stays in the servers cache. When you resize your images and ‘reupload’ them, have you noticed that a number gets appended to the file name? (i.e. photo1.jpg)

  Try using the new file name instead.

  Sorry, my blog is iindulge.wordpress.com. When I saved my image I saved it under a new name if that’s what you meant so that I for sure uploaded the new sized image. It didn’t change anything.

  If by saving you mean uploaded the image to your blog then, did you make sure the path to such image was updated in your post? In other words, did you replace the old image with the new one in your post?

  Also, what other browsers have you tried? I went to your blog using Firefox and IE 7, checked all 4 pages you have there, and it looked fine.
