My pictures aren’t showing up in the previews or in the featured posts at the top of my blog. Its just a grayed out area :(

Hello!
Looking at your site, it appears you may need to set a Featured Image for those posts where they are showing up as grayed out. It’s currently using a blank placeholder image so you will need to set your own custom image to get it working.
Open the editor of the post or page where you want to display a unique custom header image, and locate the Featured Image module on the right. Click Set Featured Image. From there you can choose an image already in your library or upload a new one.
