My pictures disappeared.
-
I created my first post, and I was very happy with its appearance. It has one PDF and 15 pictures from my iPhone. Twice, while I was building the post, a few images disappeared. However, when I clicked in the frame (where the picture was supposed to be) two icons appeared in the upper-left corner. When I clicked the pencil icon a dialog box appeared with an “Update” button. When I clicked the update button the picture immediately reloaded into the frame. Now, however, all the picture frames are empty, and clicking in them has no effect. How can I get my pictures to reload?

Hey, John.
Just checking. Are the pictures you are trying to include in your post still in your Media Library?
Cheers,

Thank you so much for the hint. This is my first blog and, because of your suggestion, I just found my media library. None of the pictures were there, so I uploaded them. When I created this blog I just pasted them, from my clipboard, into it. Now they appear much smaller.
Can I make them bigger?
Thanks again,
John

John,
You can select from several different sizes when you add a picture to your post. When you click “Add Media” and select an image, The “Insert Media” window opens. You will see several editable text fields on the right. Scroll to the bottom, and you will find the “Attachment Display Settings.” From here, you can change the size of the image. The default is medium, which is probably why your pictures appear smaller.

I suggest you go through http://learn.wordpress.com before moving on. It will clarify how this process all works.
