My Pictures turn black and white

Hello I am using the Skatepark, but all my pictures turn black and white when viewing them on the website, howw can I get my pictures back to their original color?

Hi there,
Skatepark uses a duotone filter on images by default, but due to a bug in WordPress itself it’s currently not possible to disable that filter if you don’t want it.
The people who make WordPress over on WordPress.org are working on this issue, but I’m not able to tell you when it will be fixed. For now, the only option if you don’t want that filter is to use a different theme that doesn’t use it by default, or to disable the filter using custom CSS on our Pro plan.

similar problem… I like this layout, but not the green filter. All images in my posts take on the green hue, which isn’t awesome. Id love to hear of it if they find a way to disable the filter.
Im just starting this blog as a resource review site, to be referenced on my main blog… but not sure I can use this layout with all images losing their original appearance, and I haven’t found another similarly effective layout. -

I’m hoping this will be fixed when WordPress 6.0 comes out next month, but at this point I’m afraid we don’t know yet if the fix will be included there.
Once this is fixed we’ll try to post an update to this thread.

I agree I really like other aspects of this theme, but cannot use with the green images. One of the features I’m looking for is the blog titles in the query loop to NOT be underlined. I like how this one underlines only when you mouse-over. Do you know other themes that have that style, or is it possible to adjust that? I have not been able to see where I can edit that.

Re: underline controls, several themes have underline-on-hover effects, or other hover effects like color changes. I’d recommend heading to https://wordpress.com/themes/ and tapping the three dots on any you like to see their demo.
We’ve also got a request in to let that be controlled in the editor, or if your site supports CSS, it’s possible to add hover effects there, too.

does anyone know of a theme with a similar layout to skatepark I can use in the meantime?

@j4pphph59c – Since Skatepark is one of the new Full Site Editing (FSE) themes, you can check out the other FSE themes through this filter:

Review the different options there and choose the one that will best fit your site’s needs.
