My poll dosen’t show on my blog

I added a new poll to my blog. The poll was successfully publish, but I don’t see it when I review my blog.

Go back to appearance > widgets and make sure the text widget is still at that location. Also, open it for edit and see if the code is still in there.

I’ve never played with polls much, but just did one.
In your dashboard, select polls > edit and then hover your mouse over the poll name you are trying to insert and click “html code”. When that page opens, copy the shortcode which will look similar to
[polldaddy poll=123445678]Then go to appearance widgets, click on the right end of the blue title bar for the text widget in your sidebar that you want to use for the poll and it will open. Delete all the code in that text widget (if there is any) and paste the code you copied from the poll > edit page into the body of the widget. Click save changes and wait for the little spinning donut to disappear, then click the “close” link at the bottom left. Go back to your blog and your poll should appear there in your sidebar. If it does not, try force refreshing/reloading the page. -
