My post are getting out of order

I posted three post the last three days. After I post the next one I can’t find the last post. It gets placed into the blog and people can’t find them. for years they have had a sequence that was associated with the date. What am I doing that has changed that in the last 3 months that I’ve noticed this is happening? Please fix it! I may have to find another place to blog.

    Hello there,
We Volunteers on this peer support forum are your fellow bloggers. We do not provide support by email. We are unable to provide any support at all until you post an active link starting with http:// to the blog in question. Will you please do that now?

Well that advice seems to have proven useless. having the same problem. your suggestion was to unstick the post and you gave me directions to go to screen options.can’t figure what to do next. is there a tutorial to unstick? Your previous info isn;t sufficient to unstick the post. And if i unstick them what guarantee that that will work? The reason I sticky the post is because the post appeared anywhee on the blog and not in any sequence. I need to control the sequence or I need to go somewhere I can.

All wp.com blogs display posts in reverse chronological order, except if you mark a post as a sticky. So yes, if you unsticky ALL your posts they’re guaranteed to show up in the right order.

Sticky posts also override the number of posts per page, so if you unsticky ALL your posts then your front page will display the 15 posts per page you’ve set instead of the 150 or so it displays now (making it impossible to load completely and impossible for any visitor to bother scrolling down).

To unsticky your posts you need to do exactly what thesacredpath had told you. To repeat:
Go to Posts > All Posts.
Click the little square to the left of “Title” to select all the posts that are listed on that page. Select Edit from the Bulk Actions pulldown, click Apply. Select Not Sticky from the Sticky pulldown, click Update.
Click the number or the arrow (top right) to go to the next page and repeat for that page of posts.
And so on, till you’re done with all the posts.
