My post disappeared!
-
I posted something yesterday evening, it was published and Google can find it. Unfortunately, WordPress can’t seem to. I emailed support, but have received no answer yet.
Is there any way I can access the image of the post on Google and recreate it? there’s no “cached” link next to the Google reference, but the entire text is obviously stored in there somewhere.
Thanks!

URL of the blog:
http://mainstreamparenting.wordpress.com/
URL of the specific post that disappeared:
http://mainstreamparenting.wordpress.com/2008/01/14/breastfeeding-advocacy-vs-lactofanaticism/
It shows “not there” when you click on the link, but if you search in Google under “lactofanaticism”, you’ll find a link with an excerpt of the text. If you could restore it for me and help prevent this from happening to future posts, I’d be ever so grateful!

@estherar-Google does have the full cached post.
Odd, this is the second disappearing act I’ve seen so far today…

It is most likely, that you won’t get your post back. Copy/paste the text from the cached and rewrite what is missing. I think that is the easiest way out…
-
If you want to get it out of the Google cache, I’d hurry before Google crawls your site again!

That’s the point, there’s no “cached” link! But Google has obviously referring to something…how do I get to the cache?

Fugeddaboutit, I just went to Google again and now there IS a “cached” link! *whew*
Thanks, justjennifer!
