My post disappeared and was replaced by comment page

I hope I can describe what just happened because it has me baffled. Just finished writing a post and saved it. Uploaded a picture that I was going to include and I don’t know if I was moving the pic or deleting it, but I believe my hand was on the right button of my mouse for a couple of seconds when. . .my page changed dramatically. The whole post was replaced by

No idea where it came from, but now I can’t get back. Anyone have any idea how my post got hijacked. Help would be appreciated because I it’s really hot outside and I am grumpy. -
Do you have a wordpress.com hosted blog?
I cannot tell because you have not provided a link to your blog and because you have linked your wordpress.com username to a commercial blog.In this forum we provide support only to bloggers who have wordpress.com hosted blogs. If you have downloaded software from wordpress.org we cannot help you. That software is different from the wp-MU multi-user software we run on here.
Please read the sticky post at the head of the forum titled “Please read me first before posting”. It describes the differences between wordpress.com and wordpress.org. If you have wordpress.org software go here for support http://wordpress/org/support
If you have a wordpress.com hosted blog please post again and provide a link to that blog.

I see a post called Popcorn and a Video. The first place to look when you cannot find a post is in your “drafts” as it’s possible you clicked “save” rather than “publish”. -> Manage -> Posts
use the drop-down menu to select “drafts” and then click “filter” and see if you can find it there. -
I’m sorry Timethief for putting you on a wild goose chase. I will be more specific. The post still was not published when it got lost. The text of the post was replaced instantaneously by that comment page info. Don’t even know where that info came from. Does that make anymore sense? I was fiddling with a picture when the text (which wasn’t highlighted or anything) was suddenly gone. Is there a way to backtrack from that?

It sounds to me like a technical glitch occurred please report this to staff and be very specific when you do http://wordpress.com/contact-support/
