My post doesn't appear in reader

  Hi Zandyring,

  I also have the same issue. However, my posts haven’t shown up in the reader for over 6 months. I use tags related to my posts and keep them below 15, and I don’t usually include links to Amazon.com and related sites on my posts. I refreshed my cache and cleared cookies, but the problem still exists. Could you please help me? I’d be much obliged. Thanks!

  Have also just noticed my number ‘count’ of ‘follow by email’ dropped by 1700? Even though it had been seemingly on a steady increase all year? It is showing only 75? Strange..

  Whoops.. have worked out the ‘follow’ count quite by accident, and luckily it has also ‘sorted out’ the who follows me by email thread, which I shall now mark as resolved.. so something positive came out of turning my twitter share off..

  I had switched off my ‘Share to Twitter’ and have now re established that follow question.. apologies… Newish to the intricacies.. of WordPress :)

  @jonathanochart,

  I checked your blog, and it had actually been flagged because of a link you had in a post. It was a photo you pulled in from fanpop.com – it registered as suspicious by the system (because of the nature of fanpop.com). So I cleared the flag for you after checking out your site a bit more – you should start showing up in the Reader now!

  I do see your post showing up here in the Reader: http://wordpress.com/#!/read/topic/queensland/

  If you don’t see it under the Photography tag, it could simply be due the the massive volume of users who also use that tag :)

  Hi again – the internal team got back to me. It looks like that, for whatever reason, your tag didn’t “take.” There doesn’t seem to be a reason for it. They recommend that you remove the tag, re-add it, and re-publish your post.

  Yep, you’re right! You had an image (for the Decemberists) in this post: http://coreythibodeaux.wordpress.com/2011/12/28/2011-music-review-forgetting-about-dre-and-jt/
  That got triggered because it had a funny kind of URL that made our system read it as a possible affiliate link.

  I reviewed the site and cleared you again. You should be all set now!
