My Post doesn't show up in reader

  Hi

  my post doesn’t have any affiliated link and it has tags/categories under 15 but i don’t see any of posts on wordpress reader. The post i am talking about is this

  Hi there. Your site is not a free WordPress.com blog, but a self-hosted WordPress.org website. WordPress.org sites are not included in tag listings in the Reader as far as I know, and are also not eligible to be featured in Freshly Pressed.

  The only way your blog will appear in the Reader is in the feeds of individual users who follow your blog.

  by follow do you mean if the reader is subscribed to my blog using their email ? so , as a wordpress.org blogger how can i promote my page in word press?

  No, to follow your blog in the Reader they have to add the RSS feed to their Reader list. I don’t think subscribing via the email subscription widget the Jetpack plugin gives will add your posts to their Reader feeds as well, but I’m not sure about that.

  The same way as the rest of us do, really: visit other blogs and interact with the authors and other readers in the comments sections. Then make sure your blog is added to your Gravatar profile under the Website URL field so people will reach it when they click on your username. https://wordpress.com/me/account

  Tag listings in the Reader help, but making connections with other bloggers help much more in promoting your site.

  And then you can promote your site via social media and by adding it to blog directories like Bloglovin. You can also look at the tips in this support doc: https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-more-views-and-traffic/ Most of them apply to both WP.com and WP.org sites. Paying for traffic is not worth it, though, in my opinion.

  kokkieh is correct. Self hosted WordPress.ORG sites are NOT part of the WordPress.COM blogging community. Consequently, posts published on self hosted WordPress.ORG installs do not automatically appear on the WordPress.COM Topics pages ie. categories and tags pages, and are not eligible to be selected for Freshly Pressed.
