My post has disappeared but I can still find it via its url
-
Hi – a couple of days ago I posted 2 queries – one public and the one below, which was private. I got a reply to the first immediately but still haven’t heard about this one, which is much more urgent. I hope that if I post it publicly I might get a faster answer. Thanks

I’ve just realised that this post http://suethomasnet.wordpress.com/2014/01/17/shepherd/ is online – I can reach it through the twitter link I posted – but it’s not showing on my blog and seems to have disappeared in the backend too. Please help! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There is a bug going around where there are two different versions of a single blog, and some posts go on one version and some don’t. I flagged this for staff to fix.

Hi Sue,
You can edit the post here:
https://suethomasnet.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=2369&action=editIt looks like the date on that post is January 17th, so it’s buried down further in your post flow than you’d expect. Not sure how it was dated that far back, but you can manually edit the date and update the post in this way:

Hi sorry but that’s not right
This post isn’t visible in my backend at all. It’s nothing to do with the dates. Are you able to log in and find it so you can see for yourself?
Thanks -
Hi Sue,
It’s right here:
https://suethomasnet.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=2369&action=editWhat happens when you click that link?
I found it on page 2 of your post list:
https://suethomasnet.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php?paged=2‘How to bring nature into your digital world 3. Use Twitter to follow people like herdyshepherd1 who work outdoors with animals.’ — that’s the post you are looking for, correct?
Note that it has the “Image” post format; not sure if that was intentional.

Hi yes this is the post but it’s not showing up for me anywhere. Could it be that raincoaster is correct and there are 2 versions of the blog?
-
hi again
I’ve had another look and you’re right! I have no idea how it got that date – must have been a slip of my fingers. I’ve corrected the date now and it’s fine. Sorry for doubting you!
thanks

Hi Sue,
No problem, I’m glad you’re all set now! I don’t know how the date got changed, but let me know if you keep having trouble with this. :)
