My post IDs are disorder.

    I don’t know why my post IDs are disorder. I haven’t deleted a post before, but some of my post IDs are lost. Can I manage or change my post IDs which are disorder? If not, can I return my blog to initial status?

    That has been that way for as long as I can remember. WordPress just seems to sometimes skip numbers and I have no idea why. There is nothing you can do about it.

    If you start and save a draft and then delete it, that ID# is not reused with the next draft, it is skipped. That is part of the answer, but I’m sure not all of it.
