My post is not saving or able to be previewed or published

Hi, I am really struggling with getting my posts to save. I have seen many others with the same problem and I have followed the advice given to them to no avail.
When I write a post if I click preview, save draft or publish the post disappears. The title remains and any changes I made to the category and tags, but the body of the text is blank. I am unable to restore it either because it has never been saved.
I have deleted my cache, cookies and even tried in a different internet browser, but the same thing happens.
Please help, I am losing the plot :-(NB – not sure if this is connected but I recently had to reinstall windows and I am wondering if there might be a setting somewhere that isn’t quite the same as before. I have also recently changed from my WordPress URL to my own domain name. Could this have made a difference? I had never had any problem in the past. It does seem strange that so many people have reported the same error though :-/

Do not create posts here http://wordpress.com/#!/post/ where the auto-save is not working and where you are creating an Aside post format.
If the post was created on the dashboard of your own blog at Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New then you ought to be able to recover a lost post or page from revisions if needs be.

But if the post was created here http://wordpress.com/#!/post/ there is no means of recovery as the auto-save is not functioning there.
Always create your posts on the dashboard of your own blog at
Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New

Be sure you have no browser related issues or connectivity issues.

Hello, thank you for your reply. I have seen the same reply to other people with my problem and I have already followed the advice you gave.
I always create posts from Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New and I have tested other browsers and cleared cookies and cache etc before posting here.
Is there anything I am missing? I’m sure I have tried everything you suggest.

I think I have fixed it. I was inserted images from a Firefox Add on which I had not previously done. When I tried it by uploading the images in the normal way (add media) it worked fine.

Hi, I can’t publish a post? I hit publish and it doesn’t appear on my site. The back office then only offers preview and update. Could you help?

When I hit the publish button, the back office page refreshes, but the publish button has disappeared…When I go to ‘all posts’ it says scheduled underneath 2013/10/27.
Is there a problem with WP, or could it be the weather in the UK?
