My post is not showing.

Hello everybody. I just started a new blog. I posted my first post, and it published fine. However, it did not publish on my blog home page. I don’t know how to connect my posts to show on my homepage.
The first link is to my blog homepage, and the second link is to my post. I want to get the two on the same page. They both have different addresses also, what did I do wrong? Thank you!

Hi @mpaxinos,
My guess is that you have both of these sites connected to the same WordPress.com account. Once you’re logged into WordPress.com, it’s easy to switch between your sites, and I believe that has happened here (without you realizing you were switching).
To check if you have multiple sites on your WordPress.com account, log into WordPress.com and click the My Sites link in the upper left corner. Do you see a link straight underneath the My Sites link called Switch Sites? If so, have a look and see what sites you can find. I suppose you have both mpaxinos.wordpress.com and mathandpinkfloyd.wordpress.com listed here.
All you have to do now is make sure you’re working on mpaxinos.wordpress.com when you’re creating and publishing your post.
Please let me know if you have any more questions!

Hi jjberg83,
Thank you for helping, I appreciate it. I don’t see that “switch sites” option. When I hover over the My Sites it says to “view a list of my sites and access their dashboards.” It gives stats and other options. What’s weird is that it has the name of my blog “Mathand pinkfloyd” but the site itself is under the domain name mpaxinos.wordpress.com.

Ok, I see. Your two sites might also be associated with two different WordPress.com accounts. It’s hard for me to say since I can’t check which account is tied to each of your sites. However, I’ve tagged this for staff attention (notice the modlook tag in the sidebar?), so they’ll clear this up for you.

Hi mpaxinos,
It appears you have two sites in two separate accounts:
mathandpinkfloyd.wordpress.com (mathandpinkfloyd)
mpaxinos.wordpress.com (mpaxinos)
You won’t see the option to switch between them as this only works for sites in the same account. Would you like to manage both sites from one account or would you prefer to keep them separate as they are now?
The first link is to my blog homepage, and the second link is to my post. I want to get the two on the same page.
The second link you posted is to a page with a contact form. In order to add that form to mpaxinos.wordpress.com, you’ll need to login as mpaxinos and create it there.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi gemmacevans,
Wow you guys are quick. Thanks for your help. The only account I wish to have is the mathandpinkfloyd account. I do not want the other one. Will the post on my mathandpinkfloyd account be my homepage?
-
Hi mpaxinos,
The only account I wish to have is the mathandpinkfloyd account.
Ok, mpaxinos.wordpress.com can be transferred to your mathandpinkfloyd account using these instructions:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/
Once the site has been transferred, you’ll be able to switch between both sites in your mathandpinkfloyd account.
Will the post on my mathandpinkfloyd account be my homepage?
mathandpinkfloyd.wordpress.com has one post called ‘You’re not math challenged, I promise’, which is currently being displayed on your homepage :)

Gemmacevans,
Thank you so much. You have been more than helpful. Can I just bother you for one more question? I have an ebook that I wish to post and sell. Where do I go to get that set up?

You’re welcome :)
I have an ebook that I wish to post and sell. Where do I go to get that set up?
You can use PayPal buttons to sell individual products on your site — buyers will be directed to a PayPal payment screen. There are some instructions for setting the buttons up here:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/
There is no instant download feature though, so you will need to send the ebook to buyers manually.
