My post is pending

  I typed in a blog post yesterday and told it to publish, but it is marked pending. After a little digging, there is an old post (like 2014 old) post also pending. I am admin on the site, so who would be holding it us, or could I have posted it wrong. I post on another wordpress site and have not had this trouble.
