My post want show up in the relevant category
-
Hi. On my blog https://thegoodteacherblog.wordpress.com/ I have created a Custom Link in my Primary Menu called Inquiry. I have made this link so that it does not have a function. I have created a sub heading underneath Inquiry called The Teacher’s KWL of Inquiry Learning. I can see in the menu section that it is listed as a category. When I write a new blog post and choose this category, it does not appear. I can find it on my homepage at the very bottom as a random link, but I need it to connect to my category page. Help! I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Thanks in advance.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello there,
It appears that the menu item itself does not have a category assigned to it. It’s linking to: https://thegoodteacherblog.wordpress.com/category/uncategorized/
Go to the Customizer, choose Menu, then change the menu item you created, The Teacher’s KWL of Inquiry Learning, from “uncategorized” to “inquiry”. Be sure to save and publish your changes.
That should change the menu link to: https://thegoodteacherblog.wordpress.com/category/inquiry/
Here’s some general information about setting up Custom Menus. And the specifics on setting up a Category Page.
Also, I noticed you have a test blog post, and possibly a duplicate post. If you wish to delete them, follow the instructions on Edit Posts Screen.

Well, I inadvertently cut off the links to your category pages. Sorry! Here they are again so you can see which specific posts are shown:
Uncategorized: https://thegoodteacherblog.wordpress.com/category/uncategorized/
Inquiry: https://thegoodteacherblog.wordpress.com/category/inquiry/
