My Posterous blog import has been "processing" for more than a month.
-
I tried to import a posterous blog into my wordpress account and the import has been processing for months. I can’t cancel it. I can’t clear it out. And I can’t try to re-import. How do I fix this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

you be welcome
As a general rule – if an import goes longer than 24 hours something is way wrong and should be brought to the attention of the staff

@mattmonnin: yes, @auxclass is correct. I looked in your history and you began the import back in March. I’ve reset the importer for you so you can try again.
However, Posterous has shut down the Amazon S3 server that stored the media from Posterous blogs, so any future import attempts will not have the media automatically imported. The export zip file you have will have your media files, but you will need to upload and manually reattach the media to each post. Unfortunately, there’s no way we can automate this process since we relied on the S3 server to bring in media files.
I hope that clarifies things! Let me know if you have any questions.
