My posts are no longer showing up in WP Reader

    Hello,

I noticed today that my posts from talaraska.com are no longer showing up in Reader. If I search for my blog in reader, the posts will pop up. However, when I select the tags that I follow and scroll through, my posts no longer appear. To be clear, these same posts had been visible over the last couple of days but they are not showing up as of today.

I have browsed the forums and don’t see anything obvious that would be causing this. I have checked the following:

    • I am using fewer than 15 tags and categories. My most recent post has nine tags and one category.
    • My blog is not new and my posts had been showing up fine until today.
    • My blog is not private or hidden from search engines.
    • I’m not using misleading or irrelevant tags. I’ve been using these tags for roughly a year with no issues.
    • I don’t believe my content would be unsuitable. I’ve never had any issues previously.
    • These are not old posts. My most recent post is from Monday January 1st and that was the first time it was posted.
    • My content is not for a mature audience.

Any idea what the issue might be? Thank you for your help.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there!

I just checked the WordPress.com Reader for two tags that you used on your latest post, and I was able to find your blog post on WordPress.com Reader. See these screenshots:

You can see the tag I was browsing in the browser’s address bar visible in the screenshot.

If you still don’t see your site on the Reader, can you tell us where you’re looking for it? We’ll try to retrace your steps to see if we can replicate it on our end.

    Thanks!

Thank you very much for your help. I’ve been looking in exactly the same place. Oddly, after your response I tried something out. I still couldn’t see my posts listed in the reader (for instance at https://wordpress.com/tag/dnd). However, after logging out of my account and going back to https://wordpress.com/tag/dnd, my posts were immediately visible like normal.

Any idea why this might be happening? I suppose it’s not a huge issue as long as they are visible to others, it just seems odd that they would not be showing up for me all of the sudden. Thanks again.

Hi @talaraska, interesting find! We’ll check to see what might have changed along those lines. For now, rest assured your posts are appearing there. Cheers!
