My posts are not bumping topics

  I’ve made a few posts in Off-topic this morning. I noticed that when I did, the topics themselves did not bump, and the poster before me remained the one displayed on the forum page. I cleared my caches as a matter of course this morning, and checked the forum again. When I am logged out, I cannot see my post at all in those threads. And I wonder if anyone else can.

  I have the same problem when I post into the “Today I posted” thread. I post my link to my published post into that thread and I can see what I posted. I log-out of WordPress.com and view the thread and my comment is invisible. What’s happening is our comments are being sent to the spam filter ie. Akismet so we will have to ask Staff to fish them out. I’m flagging this thread for Staff attention.

  I was just worried because I am newer to the site. I hate to be seen as “that girl” already. You know, the one who has nothing but weird issues that no one else sees? :D

  Not to worry. You are not weird and neither am I. Akismet is over zealous and needs some educating – that’s all. :)
