My posts are not showing up on facebook and twitter

I have my “share” settings set up to share to facebook and to twitter, but my posts are not showing up either place.
What am I doing wrong?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Do you have your “Publicize” options set to push the posts to FB and Twitter? The share settings just allow other people to share the posts to their Twitter and Facebook.

Dashboard->Settings->Sharing
The top of the page says “Publicize.”

Lorenzo, No it does not.When I select “edit” on my latest post, THIS appears on the right hand side:
Status: Published Edit
Visibility: Public Edit
Published on: Dec 3, 2013 @ 15:09 Edit
Publicize: Facebook: Purple Ink Writers, Google+: Donna Sooner Leahey, Twitter: @Soonerdvm -

I clicked “edit” next to “Publicize” and found all three boxes blank.
I checked them all, then updated the post.
It still didn’t share and when I clicked edit again, the boxes are still not checked.

Publicize will only work on the first time a post is published. It won’t work if you go back and edit a post, check publicize in the publish module and then update.
Let us know what happens after you next publish a new post.

Ok, it seems to be working now.
If I want to publicize the post that DIDN’T get shared, do I need to just repost it?

Actually, no, apparently it’s still a problem. I had one post shared properly, and the very next post… nothing.

It appears that if I use the “new post” button at the top of the screen, it will not share. I have to go in and use the “new post” on the left column in the dashboard for it to work.

1. Try flushing your FB cache but disconnect from FB first http://umairj.com/146/how-to-clear-facebook-shares-cache/
2. (a) Try the full reconnect procedure again detailed at http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-facebook including step 3 (removing the FB app), which is probably the most important step.

Note: RSS Grafitti http://www.facebook.com/RSS.Graffiti can be used for posting to Facebook walls if you prefer. RSS Graffiti periodically checks the RSS/Atom feeds that you specify and posts any new entries it finds to the Facebook Walls that you specify. You can get any feed written on any wall (Facebook Profiles, Fan Pages, Groups, Events and Application Profile Pages). In fact, multiple feeds to multiple walls. You choose the combination.
Please note that reconnecting Publicize with Facebook and/or with Twitter does not re-publicize missed posts, but it will work for future posts.
