My posts are now out of order

    Hi!

    My most recent posts over the last few years are appearing at the bottom of my blog. Originally I have a MistyLook theme but recent posts started appearing in a thin column on the right, with the table of contents at the very bottom of the page (meta etc). I tried changing to MistyLake as a way of fixing this and now those recent posts are at the bottom of the screen. Help!

    The MistyLook theme was retired, and updated to the Misty Lake theme.

    You’re referring to the Recent Posts widget in the sidebar. That widget, by default, will appear in a column on the right, as it does in the Misty Lake demo.

    I don’t find a table of contents in your sidebar, only another widget, the Meta widget. Both of them presently appear at the bottom of the sidebar on the blog or posts page, but appear in the normal place, beginning at the top of the sidebar on the page “Who I Am.” This suggests that something in one of the posts has caused the widget to be displaced on the posts page. Such a layout issue can be caused by stray HTML in a post. In my experience, a stray div tag has been the most frequent cause of widget displacement.
