My posts arent showing up on homepage

  I am new to wordpress and I have searched through some of these topics and some people are saying “check your url” or something about topic but i have no clue what that is all I know is I have a welcome page or post that I had sticky but I have made it not sticky to see if that helps but it hasnt, I also have the start of a post that I wrote to see if it would show up but it hasnt :-(

  Can anyone help and put it in layman’s terms please??

  It looks like you have set your blog to have a static front page, which shows “The world of Che Cher……”

  To change that:
  dashboard—>settings—>reading settings—>click to select:Front page displays “Your latest posts ” —>save
