My posts do not show up in reader
-
Hello there,
The blog we need help with is https://jesuisungameur.com/.
we recently migrated our wp.com site to a self-hosted blog and our new posts are no longer showing in the reader. We follow our own blog, and they used to show up fine. We have unfollowed/refollowed and we still don’t see new posts. Many of our readers have confirmed that they cannot see new posts either.
Furthermore, we have already migrated our followers to our new site through Jetpack. So normally posts should appear in the reader for all WordPress.com users who have followed our sites.
Last thing: our blog’s feed do not seem to validate but we do not really understand what’s going on: https://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?url=https%3A%2F%2Fjesuisungameur.com%2Ffeed%2F. Any advice?
Best wishes,
Joanne

Hi there,
First, just note that your site’s Jetpack connection is to the WordPress.com account, jesuisungameurcom, to please make sure if you need help with that site you contact us and Jetpack support using that username and email address, as with most things we can only help if it’s the site owner contacting us.
You can ignore those validation errors. Any site’s feed will contain some errors, but your site’s RSS feed is actually fine.
This error is on our side, and sometimes happens when a WordPress.com site is migrated to a Jetpack site. I’ve asked a developer to manually update your feed from this end. I’ll let you know once we’ve been able to fix things.

Hi Kokkieh,
Thanks a lot, no worries! So do I need to send a message both to you and Jetpack using the Jesuisungameurcom account?
Thanks for your responsiveness and kindness,
Joanne

Hi Kokkieh, I’m posting a quick message here to let you know that Joanne and me are working together. Cheers!

You don’t need to send anything to Jetpack in this case, but should you need to contact them for help with a Jetpack issue they’ll only be able to help if you contact them via the account that is connected to Jetpack.
But in this case we don’t need the owner’s permission to fix the problem, as the problem is on our end and not in your account.

Hello there, did you guys have time to figure out what’s wrong with the WordPress Reader? By the way, in case you see this message after the 1st of January, Happy New Year! ;)

I’m still waiting on the developers to update your site’s feed. Sorry for the delay, but this will probably only be fixed next week, as we do have a lot of people on vacation this time of year, like most companies :)
Thank you, and all the best for 2017 to you as well.

Hi there,
Your site’s feed has been fixed, so your posts should be appearing in the Reader now. Please let me know if you have any further problems with this.
