My posts on my main blog are not published

    I can write my posts as usual but as soon as I hit publish (or even only try to save the draft or try to preview the post), it vanishes. I tried it with posts with and without pictures. It displayes the normal message that it’s been published/saved but it cannot be found. I automatically publish a link to my new blog posts via Twitter and this gets still published, but the link leads to an error message. The post is also not saved in “all posts” in the Dashboard.

    The weird thing is that I can publish as usual on my second blog, so there seems to be an error with my main blog (it’s in German). Any ideas?

    Are you using the New Post button on the Reader or the main post editor under Posts ->Add New in the Dashboard? Using the New Post button sometimes leads to posts not publishing properly.

    Also try clearing your browser cache and cookies and see if you have the same problem using a different browser: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

    I tried it with both publishing/writing via the Dashboard and the New Post button on the reader to the same effect.

    Thank you nonetheless – it seems it was a hiccup as today all posts suddenly appeared.

    Then it was probably a glitch in the system yesterday. I notice someone added the “502 error” tag to your thread. That’s an error message a bunch of people got yesterday and your case was probably related to that.

    Glad it’s working now.
