  My posts show up on the main page, but new pages do not link up as published on site.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Posts show up on the main blog page. Static pages don’t, since they sit outside the blog post structure. You must use either a tabbed header or a Pages widget to show static pages.

  For this very reason when I have produced a nice new page I often write a very short post saying “there is a new page” and linking it. This way subscribers are aware of the change.
