My premium domain not showing after Bluehost blip

    Hi guys,

I paid for Premium earlier today and set up my none .wordpress domain and everything was great. I then set up Bluehost and tried to do a migration over to that, which, in a nutshell, went badly. At some point during this I changed my new Premium .com domain to my primary domain, which worked great, but after changing the name servers to try and get it to pull to Bluehost, I then realised that Bluehost and I weren’t going to get on. I have since changed my Premium domain’s name servers back to the WordPress ones, but when I try and go on the site I get a message saying: ‘This webpage has a redirect loop’ and ‘ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS’.
I only made these changes a few hours ago, so is it something that will sort itself out after a day or two? For now I have reverted my site back to my WordPress one (www.longdayoff.wordpress.com).

    Thanks!

    Hi there!

I visited alongdayoff.com and was able to see your site at that address. Here’s a screenshot of what I was seeing on my end:

It can take up to 72 hours (though usually much less) for new information about a domain to propagate throughout the Web. When a domain is altered, the resulting propagation time can lead to error such as the ones you mentioned.

Unfortunately, we have no control over this as it all depends on how often your internet service provider updates their records. Please rest assured that everything is proceeding normally with your domain.

If you’re still having trouble viewing your site, please try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies:

If that doesn’t work, try clearing your local DNS cache:

Let me know if you’re still having trouble viewing your site after the propagation time, or if have any more questions or concerns. I’ll be happy to help further.

Yep it all seems to be working fine now. I thought it was probably a case of it taking a bit of time to clear, but was worried I had messed it up. Thanks for clarifying!
