My Premium Shelf Theme
-
I have been on my site from other computers, heard from friends and followers that there is a ad/article on the bottom of my post when they are clicked on. I never approved of this being added to the bottom of my post and would love for it to be removed or for me to be able to remove it. I pay for my site and for this theme so I do not approve of others having a say over my site.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

WordPress.com has been running advertising on our free hosted blogs since 2006 so it comes with the territory of being free hosted. They only way to have them removed it to purchase an annually renewable No-Ads upgrade. See here please > http://en.support.wordpress.com/no-ads/

Unless you’ve purchased the yearly No Ads upgrade for your blog, WordPress.com can run ads on it.
Please see this recent thread for a discussion on advertising https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/google-links-at-bottom-of-blogs?replies=3

The OP is paying for Domain Mapping. That is not the same as the No Ads upgrade. Upgrades are very narrowly defined here and relate to very specific items.
-
And paying for a premium theme also doesn’t exempt you from the ads. Only the No Ads upgrade does.

Just FYI, ads have been put on blogs here since September of 2006 (see the very bottom of the features page: http://en.wordpress.com/features/ ).
