My preview is not showing the headings as I've chosen them

  I’ve used headings in my blog post, but no matter how many times I reformat them, they will not show up in the preview. I’ve never had this happen before…

  Thanks for the link! From what I can see, your theme’s styling for h4’s looks basically exactly like your standard font. I would suggest trying h3’s or using bold font.

  You’ll also get better support for modern styling if you update to a more recent theme. The updated version of Misty Look is called Misty Lake:

  Thanks for input. I still don’t understand why some of the formatting is working but not all of it. I haven’t wanted to update because I don’t want to have to re-do my whole blog and all the widgets.

  Sorry to say, I’m not crazy about the recent changes for posts and stats. It actually has been more difficult to use, not easier.

  I still don’t understand why some of the formatting is working but not all of it.

  Some of your h4 blocks also have been made bold. So you’re seeing the bold there. The Header 4 styling isn’t doing anything because of the way the theme is set up. Does that clarify things?

  I can help you get your widgets set up if you’d like to change. Our system will try to keep them in the same places if the theme you move to has a similar set up. So updating to Misty Lake shouldn’t require much extra work.

  Sorry. Feeling kind of clueless here. So you’re saying that because I haven’t updated my theme, the new posting system is only partially working? So the only way to utilize the headings is to change my theme…

  Thanks. I’m not very tech savvy. One of the things I’ve loved about wordpress is how easy it has been to post blogs with great formatting and no real knowledge of how it works behind the scenes…

  Ok. So I just need to bold sections. I didn’t bold the ones that were bold, so that confused me.

  Yep! You just need bold sections. :)

  For your reference, here are what the various headers look like in your theme:

  As you can see, “Header 4” looks pretty similar to the default text above Header 1. But if you like any of those other styles, you can use them instead!
