My previous website is not being redirected.

  I established a new WordPress site to replace a previous site plus a Blogger bog, at two different domains. I followed instructions to redirect the domains to my new WP site and one has been successful, the other has not. http://www.adikanda.com does now redirect to http://adikanda.wordpress.com, but http://www.cynthialong.ca does not. I have written to Dynamod, my previous site host, and so far they have not been able to determine the problem, as they say I have followed instructions correctly. Can you tell me what the problem might be? This is my main business site and I do not want it to be down for any length of time.

  Also I have successfully imported my blog content from Blogger. Do you have any guidelines for importing my followers? I also heard that I need to set the Permalink for my WP site to match my Blogger URL.. is this so, and how do I do it?

  Also, I would like my URL to be http://www.adikanda.com for my new WP site, not http://adikanda.wordpress.com.

  I am not seeing that http://www.cynthialong.ca has been mapped to a WordPress.com site.

  To do so, simply log into your WordPress.com site’s dashboard, click on Store–>Domains, enter cynthialong.ca in the “add a domain” box and click the “add domain” button. Then simply follow the instructions that appear to map your domain.

  Let me know if you have any trouble.

  Thank you.. I realize that I somehow mapped http://www.adikanda.com to my WordPress site, but not http://www.cynthialong.ca. I will do so!

  Unfortunately, Blogger followers cannot be imported to WordPress.com.

  Also, I would like my URL to be http://www.adikanda.com for my new WP site, not http://adikanda.wordpress.com.

  The problem is that http://www.adikanda.com was not set as your WordPress.com site’s primary domain. I have switched that for you and the URL should now display correctly. For future reference, you can change or update your primary domain by logging into your WordPress.com site’s dashboard and going to Store–>Domains.
