My profile image does not show up in profile.

  I added my profile image when I first created the WP blog a while back. It never showed up on profile. Now, I tried to get it to load, while it acts like it is doing the task the image never shows up in profile. I have waited more than hour.

  A wordpress.com account is a gravatar account. They are one in the same.

  Note that gravatars/blavatars (favicons) do not show up instantly after uploading them. Gravatar images are cached and frequently take several days to display after a change.

  Dashboard → Settings → General

  Do not keep uploading!
  Do not forget to select an image rating.

  Note that you can also change your gravatar on another page if you prefer to.
