My Profile information shows on all of my blogs, even those I have not selected it show on. One I write as a pseudonym and do not want my regular information to show.

Am I missing a setting. I have three blogs i want my profile gravatar and info to show. The other one I would prefer to have a different gravatar show at bottom of pages with other information – or none at all.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, whether your author bio and gravatar appears at the end of your posts is theme-dependent. https://wordpress.com/themes/filter/author-bio
And, depending on theme, you might be able to hide your existing gravatar/author bio from displaying by unticking the box next to “Author Bio” -“display on single posts” under Content Options in the Customizer and publishing the change.
You also mentioned
even those I have not selected it show on.
If you followed the above guide to hide the author bio/gravatar and it is not working, and is on a different site to the one you’ve linked to in your above post, let us know the site URL so someone can take a closer look.
It is only possible to have a different gravatar/author bio display at the end of posts if you create a new account using a different email to the one you are using on this current one and then add that new account as a user on that one site. https://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/
You can create a new user account without creating a new website at this link https://wordpress.com/start/account/user/
Before you publish a post on that one site you will need to remember to select that new user account as the author, but this will allow you to continue to manage the one site from this current account.
Hope that helps but let us know if you have any other question about it after reading those guides.

Thanks, for the advice. I’ll have to follow up this evening- on lunch break right now. the actual blog that I do not want my bio information to show up on is:
https://phineastphartphucker.wordpress.com
The only ones I have selected for profile to show up on is:
I Am Not An Atheist iamnotanatheist.wordpress.com
Intelligent Design larryemarshall.wordpress.com and
Larry the Contrarian larrythecontrarian.wordpress.com -
For true anonymity, you might consider creating a new WordPress.com account and giving it posting privileges on the blog in question. You can read more about that at Inviting Contributors, Followers, and Viewers.
Once you’ve given the “new” user a role on your blog, you can then change the post author on the posts you’ve already written to that “new” user.
Hope this helps. 🙂

Hello again, just following up to your last reply, it looks like you’ve hidden both the author bio and gravatar on phineas as well as the gravatar that appears by default in the header on Independent Publisher 2. https://wordpress.com/theme/independent-publisher-2 but that won’t remove your name from appearing as the author on published posts.
In order to completely remove your author name from appearing on phineas, as both @nikolnieto and I said, you’ll want to create a new username account, add that account as a user on your site and then assign your existing posts, as well as new posts, to that new account.
I don’t know whether you are using the WP Admin dashboard or not, but once you add that new account as an author on your site you can bulk edit your existing posts to change authors
https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/#bulk-edit
https://phineastphartphucker.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.phpWhen you publish a new post (depending on which Editor you use) you should see an Author module at the bottom (WP Admin) or a drop down selector at the top of the post where you can choose the author of the post.
Again, let us know if you have any other questions about this and we’ll be happy to help.

The link https://wordpress.com/start/account/user/ doesn’t seem to work. It just throws me back to wordpress.com Following page. When I sent an invitation to be an administrator to the email address and I clicked on accept I got an error message Whoops that invite is not valid. I imagine it is because I already have that email address listed for that blog. Whenever I type from my browser (Firefox) it takes me to the followed page. Do I need to login from another computer to add the other account?
-
You won’t need another computer – just log out of WordPress.com and try creating the account again. The link you posted – https://wordpress.com/start/account/user/ – should work after you’ve logged out!
-
Yes, please make sure you are logged out of your current account before attempting to create a new account. Additionally you will need to register your new account using a different email address to the one you are using on this or any other WordPressdotcom account you have. Your email address is your unique identifier and can’t be shared between accounts.
Once you create the new account, you can send the invite from the old account, but to accept it, you’ll need to log in with the new account. You can do this by using two different browsers, preferably Firefox and Chrome; alternatively, you can use a regular and an Incognito/Private browsing window in the same browser.
If you are running into issues with your browser, you might want to try clearing your browser cache and cookies, which will also log you out of every other site you are logged in on. https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache
